WTN: Two Hands "Yesterday's Hero" Grenache 2004

Barossa Valley.
Decnated.
Quite thick in the mouth, concentrated and rich, fleshy cherry fruit, a hint of cherry cough drops, tarry and some charred-charcoal notes.
Very nice.
Screwcap closure.
My first experience with Two Hands. Based on everything I had heard about this winery, I guess I had been expecting something really incredible. The wine was quite good, but certainly not one that I will remember for years to come.
I guess all the hype I have read raised my expectations to an unfair and unrealistic level. Live and learn.
