NV François Pinon Vouvray Brut (Loire)
$18. Imp: Dressner.
Now this is refreshing. Creamy, bubbly white grapefruit pith with a lip-smacking acidic finish. I’d get more of this.

2000 Ch. d’Arcins Cru Bourgeois (Haut Medoc)
$15. 12.5%abv.
Beautiful deep garnet red. Wonderfully fragrant of ripe plum, blackberry, tobacco and earth. Still has some wood that needs to integrate but very smooth tannins, good dark fruit flavor, and an absolute pleasure to drink

Bill, is this the same wine?

Pinon, François NV Vouvray Petillant Brut

Taken from the Chambers Street website.

Sounds delicious.

The Arcins sounds good too, but I see that only Grand Vin Wine & Spirits in New Haven lists it on WSP.

Regards, Bob

I'd say that that is the same Pinon sparkler, Bob.

Hey, guys, stop confusing an OF who has only drunk red wine for the past 11 years.

It's tough to get a handle on all these delicious whites. :-)
