From Patagonia, Argentina (I refer you back to the name of the winery which, I believe, translates as "end of the world.")

Decanted.

Incredibly dark purple-black in the glass.

Creamy nose, with milk chocolate and spicy berries.

Dominating tannins (I am glad I decanted), fairly rich cherry and raspberry fruit, creamy (when you could get past the tannins), peppery and spicy.

Tannins did relent, somewhat, with time, but remained a dominant feature of the wine.

From what I could tell, I think this wine will be much, much better in a year or two.

If the tannins do calm down, this will turn out to be a fantastic QPR at $12.95 Canadian.
