WTN: Carmen Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2007

by Bruce Hayes » Sun Oct 18, 2009 7:07 pm

Casablanca Valley

Very light yellow, almost clear, in the glass.

Pine resin, gooseberry on the nose.

Gooseberry, lemon, wiht a hint of tropical fruit, medium weight, clean, rich, good zippy acidity, spicy, quite full in the mouth, intense.

Peppery, tangy, lemon peel on the mouthwatering finish.

A very rich and enjoyable wine.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
