Always a favourite brewery for me, yet somehow I had never tried the Lou Pepe Gueuze before! the 2006 was wonderful: tart, citrussy, dry, crisp, invigorating - exactly what I expect and always get from the regular Gueuze. Not having tried the regular Gueuze and this side-by-side, I wonder what the difference between the two is? A great beer for my tastes, but I must make an effort to try them together soon, as I would like to imprint into my memory what the difference is.

Alko got a small amount of the regular Kriek recently, in a 750ml bottle for the outrageously high price of 12€ - it's only a euro or two more to drink a 750 in a bar here... But who cares about the price when the drink is as sublime as this! A marvellous aroma of brett/dung and pure cherry; crisp, very dry and invigorating. Awesome beer!
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.
