Samples being poured by one of my fave reps downtown!

`08 Tukulu Chenin Blanc, SA.

Terrific wine, honey, almonds, peach, apricot. Had some Pouilly Fume about it? Definite buy!!

`06 Ibericos Crianza Tempranillo, Soto de Torres Spain.

New oak, modern style, very berryish. Celeste-type red.Think Otto would not like this!

`06 Parker Station Syrah, California.

Label says 15%. Really!! Only $20 Cdn. Some might like but needs 2 yrs to mellow out. What is track record of this winery?

`07 Sartori Ripasso Valpolicella.

Had thoughts of something interesting? How can a respected winery turn out a bitter-streak wine like this. No comments worth recording but hear they produce a fair Amarone.

Well, I managed to track down the Tukulu thro` emailing the rep. Only one store in town carries it! Down there Monday, so stay tuned for real TN.
