Two Champagnes from this weekend

Soutiran Brut Rose NV
From the gorgeous color through the intensely fruity aromatics and the fresh, fruity & lively palate this was a winner all around. Perhaps a touch sweeter in its dosage than some would prefer, but it was very food friendly & also Laura friendly which is always a ringing endorsement.

Pehu-Simmonet Brut Blanc de Blancs
Precise, citrus dominated & very crisp in the finish. This was a completely different expression but equally enjoyable right down to the Laura endorsement.

2 delicious Champagnes that were part of a wealth of wine riches so far this weekend.
