I picked up my futures a couple of weeks ago and was having leftover pizza for dinner tonight.
Wonderful fresh blackberry flavor and aroma. A nice bit of PS bite. Great pizza wine. I usually notice this much alcohol, but I didn't. I need to drink more young Zin – or maybe just a bit less tank car zin.
Dry Creek Valley, Estate bottled, Unfiltered/Unfined, 15.75% alcohol, 77% Zin, 23% Petite Sirah, 369 cases, $15 on futures (I didn't buy soon enough.)

{edit} Finished the bottle tonight with ribeye steak sandwich. Alcohol was showing. Cinnamon on the front palate, blueberries in the middle. Medium length. Steak encourages more thought than pizza does. Still good young Zin, but at the top of my capacity for alcohol.
