A blend of the traditional Valpolicella grapes (Corvina/Rondinella/Molinara) with a splash of Sangiovese and Merlot.
Cherry red in the glass.
Spicy, dried fruit on the nose.
Light to medium weight, very tangy, spicy, black cherry, raspberry, floral, very drying, a not unpleasant bitter streak.
Tangy, mouthwatering and a bitter bite on the finish.
After some time, the wine became quite drying and tangy and light weight. I wasn't impressed.
