Fall has arrived. It is time for some more serious wine discussion. Wednesday Chat is here. We start the party at 9:30 PM EDT for those of us on the east coast, 8:30 PM CDT and 7:30 PM RMDT for those of you in Chicago or in fly over country. I guess that means 6:30 PM on the left coast. If my calculations are correct everyone in NZ needs to join us at 2:30 PM Thursday and at 12:30 PM on Thursday morning for those in Sydney and eastern Oz. It will be an ungodly 3:30 AM in Israel. I should add that Bob Henrick and I usually show up around 9:00 if anyone wants to come early.

James, I will be in at 9PM and stay for a while, but I have to be up at 5 if not before. anyway, I look forward to it.

Sorry I missed it tonight! We had pre-vacation errands to run, plus a load of tender houseplants to get indoors before a predicted frost in a few days. Next Wednesday I'll be at my sister's home in Georgia (formerly Dad's place), so it may be a couple of weeks before I'm able to make chat again.

Likewise, I'm sorry I missed, but I strained my lower back a few days ago and find that if I sit in my computer chair for any length of time I can't get out of the chair, so I layed on the couch watching baseball. Slowly getting better, day by day and I hope it's much better by Saturday, as I'll be getting 6 bushels of Steuben grapes on Saturday.

Howie and Robert, you were both sorely missed. (Apparently, Howie was just sore) Hope you feel better soon, Howie. Enjoy your trip 1K...we'll keep the light on for you!
