WTN: 2003 ESJ Rocks & Gravel

by David M. Bueker » Tue Oct 06, 2009 1:14 pm

Medium bodied, fruity and with an underlying herbal, briary element. The structure is fine and thus not overbearing to the mid-weight flavors. Very drinkable with food and enjoyable. Not the best version of this wine (the 2001 and 2005 compete for that), but well worth its price for pleasurable drinking.

My original note slipped down the board & while cleaning up wine inventory I had forgotten I already posted it.

Yes, because he posted the same note twice. But I see now he has deleted the other.

Either way, sounds like a good showing and even if not on the level of 01 or 05 it seems to be no slouch! Nice.
