Calvert Woodley hosting impressive Bordeaux dinner

Dinner is on October 15 (my birthday!) at Park Hyatt DC (I assume in the Blue Tavern Restaurant in the Park Hyatt which has marvelous food--although it could be in a ballroom or something) and includes Krug Brut NV Champagne and 2007 Bordeaux from Leoville Barton, Lynch-Bages, Montrose, etc. and Chateau Suduiraut. Six-course dinner. $200 per person plus tax and gratuity. I won't be going but will be celebrating my birthday in Charlotte at Sonoma Restaurant at an early dinner before going to a performance of the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Just posting in case anyone in DC area as lots of moolah to spend and a hankering for Bordeaux.

sounds like a "bargain" compared to 1959 bordeaux dinner that my wife's boss got invited to (AMex black card), a mere $4700 or so per head..

Considering the rep of the 07s, $200 + T and G sounds expensive to me.
