This lovely kabinett from the Rheingau comes in screwcap (Yay!), so there were no worries about having to return a bottle that had traveled to Canada.
A little rich for kabinett, but deftly balanced with a bit of fruit pith bitterness on the finish offsetting the richness/sweetness in this very young Riesling. As has been the case for the last many vintages, this is a finely made, typical within the confines of its vintage kabinett that shines as a QPR wine as well.
