California

Light yellow in the glass.

Rich peach and apricot on the nose.

Light to medium bodied, citrus rind, peach, apricot, pear, dry, not much acidity.

With time, the fruit flavours faded, the bitter citrus rind increased in intensity and the wine appeared diluted, sickly sweet and candied. What a mess.

Mouthwatering and tangy on the finish.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).

Pretty much my impression of this wine, Bruce. Very strong aromatics but very tiring/cloying on the palate. Fat & porky, a Pilsbury DoughBoy of a wine.
I think the grapes for this are mostly Lodi. Lodi does much better by other producers.
