Bodegas Tradicion Palo Cortado VORS - Honey gold. Surprisingly creamy mouthfeel. Good complexity. Very nutty on the impressively long finish.

Torres Chile Conde de Superanda 2002 - The top Torres wine from Chile. Tempranillo. Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere. Nearly black. A little hot on the nose. Dried herbs, olives, dust, smoke, pencil shavings. Very complex but still gives the impression of tightness. Ripe fruit but with a good streak of acidity. Spicy, dry finish. Very good with some upside potential in the short term.

Torres Celeste Ribera del Duero 2006 - I thought this was oxidized. There was some disagreement about that but at least 2 of us thought there was a flaw. Judgment reserved.

Torres Chile Riesling Vendimia Tardia 2006 - A single-vineyard Riesling affected by botrytis. Light gold. Very light bodied and watery on the finish. Not a convincing effort.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
