Pooles Rock Wines
Medium yellow with green tints in the glass.
Not much of anything on the nose.
Medium weight, peppery, orange, lemon, a hint of pear, grapefruit rind, quite tangy with a strong bitter streak, sharp, crisp, hints of honey, becoming a bit more palatable as the wine warmed some on the table.
Britter citrus rind and apple on the finish.
This wine reminded me more of a Sauvignon Blanc than a Chardonnay. Not very enjoyable.
Screwcap closure.
Purchased on sale at $11.95 (Canadian).
