Wednesday Chat is here. We start the party at 9:30 PM EDT for those of us on the east coast, 8:30 PM CDT and 7:30 PM RMDT for those of you in Chicago or in fly over country. I guess that means 6:30 PM on the left coast. If my calculations are correct everyone in NZ needs to join us at 1:30 PM Thursday and at 11:30 AM on Thursday morning for those in Sydney and eastern Oz.

Things are looking up today, James! I've a sister who underwent surgery this morning to remove a benign brain tumor (it was growing between the frontal lobes, and the sooner it was removed, the better), and the surgery went about as well as could be hoped, with no complications noted so far. She should be fine, with no lasting effects from the surgery. That was a major reason for my mood earlier this week - I am close to my sisters, and we take such worrisome things seriously.
