This was a magnificent a nv champagne as I have ever tasted. It was a gift from a friend so I do not know where it was purchased or what it cost. I am sure it must have been a $50 bottle or more. To begin with the color was a beautiful golden yellow. I have not seen anything like it on a champagne before. The nose was of herbs and fresh fruit. The herbs really caught me off guard. The rosemary and sage scents mixed in with the peaches, apples and pears were intriguing to say the least. The first flavors to hit your mouth were ripe fresh stone fruits. Not only the peaches, but a distinct apricot flavor was predominant. This stayed with the taste but gave way somewhat to notes of fall fruits, especially red apples and pears, The finish included the herbal notes which built up as you were tasting each sip. I was just in awe of the depth this champagne brought to my palate. I wish I had more. Has anyone else had this stuff? If so, what are your memories?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
