Marlborough.
Clear, almost water-like, in the glass.
A big nose of gooseberry, spices and pine gum.
Very big and intense in the mouth, lime, some grapefruit rind, floral, peppery, spicy, zingy acidity and a hint of green pepper.
Went very well with BBQ sausages. Yum.
Very long spicy finish with tangy citrus.
Screwcap closure.
Good QPR at $15.95 Canadian.
