Vin de Pays des Cotes de Thongue, winery close to Bezers and Montpellier.
12.5% alc, $18 Cdn, L 9139, natural cork, very nice looking package/label.

The color is a pale straw with green tints to forefront. On the nose some mineral nuances, spice, peach, crisp herbal, fragrant. Lots going on here.
Initial entry thought was have this nicely chilled! I do not want it to be too oily or flabby. Dry, melon, pear, lengthy finish. I always like my S France whites and this is good for me with its nice soft Viognier character. "Stoney fruit...marsanne here?" from across the table. Good question, might be.
I am a big fan of Cazal-Vial from nearby but think this wine is better value. Will buy again for sure.
