Tried this Mon night w/ my tofu gruel:
1. Jaffurs Grenache StolpmanFamilyVnyd/SantaBarbaraCnty (13.5%) 1998: Dark bit murky/bricking color; some toasty/smokey/oak some Rhonish/roasted/pungent/mocha bit earthy/spicy complex nose; soft some charred/toasty/oak mocha/earthy/Rhonish/roasted complex smooth but tannic flavor; very long roasted/pungent/smokey slight strawberry/Grenache some toasty/oak/charred smooth complex finish w/ a bit of a tannic bite; not CdP but some Rhonish/smokey/roasted character; bit like an older Gigondas w/ oak; still holding on and a pleasure to drink. $24.00
