- 1998 Domaine de Beaurenard (Paul Coulon et Fils) Châteauneuf-du-Pape Boisrenard - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (8/26/2009)
Dark red core with slight lightening at rim. Forward nose with black and red berries, cherries, leather, earth and spice. Ripe rich fruit, blackberries, smooth lush palate feel, full bodied, good balance leaning more toward fruit than acid, well integrated tannins, some funky complexity, long sweet finish, excellent-outstanding, should last many years.
