WTN: Mas Des Bressades Cuvee Tradition Blanc 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Sun Aug 16, 2009 6:38 pm

AC Costieres De Nimes
Cyril Mares

A blend of Grenache Blanc and Roussanne

Dark yellow-light gold in the glass.

Orange, spice and perfume on the nose.

Perfumed, orange, lychee, spicy, medium weight, citrus rind bitterness, honeyed, oily, clean and refreshing and very rich.

Perfumed, mouthwatering on the finish, with a citrus rind bite.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian) and an excellent value.

That is a very good price Bruce. Well-established winery, I believe. Need to look for this white!

This is very reliable QPR producer for both reds and whites.

Yup. Have enjoyed both their whites and reds over the years, although, for some reason, the red in Ontario is usually $3 or $4 more than their white.
