WTN: Leyda Reserva Chardonnay 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Sat Aug 15, 2009 4:17 pm

Leyda Valley, Chile

Bright yellow in the glass.

Fresh on the nose, with citrus and spices.

Medium bodied, bright, fleshy lime, pear and green apple, good peppery edge, spicy, honeyed, viscous, a hint of vanilla, rich and intense.

Peppery, mouthwatering on the finish, with some lime and bitter citrus rind.

A very nice wine at a good price.

Screwcap closure

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).
