WTN: Romantic Eiswein (or why I hate/loathe/despise cork)

Corked. AAAAAAARGGGGGH. You have to be kidding. (Where's that screaming Tasmanian Devil pic now? - that summed up my reaction)
Wet cardboard and newspaper ruining the nose, the wine's so rich you can still taste very ripe tropical fruit flavours drenched in honey and some faint gingery notes, but the TCA mustiness is very evident underneath and spoils the whole experience.

I hate corks.

Did you buy that on this trip? One advantage to your style of drinking - shortly after purchase (something I more or less share), is that you can easily return the corked wines!
