Not sure If I've posted on one of these recently but this sure is one heck of a good wine.

Holds a solid dark ruby that carries almost to the meniscus. The nose holds a gorgeous perfume albeit with a ravishing array of secondary earthy and savoury nuance. The palate echoes the beat of the same drum offering a wealth of plum and cherry fruit, lovely damp earth and savoury oak undertones with hints of wet leather, creosote and tar. Structurally, the wine wine reveals very good grip and lively, bright acidity almost impossibly well-meshed to the savoury fruit and to conclude a wonderful, resolute, youthful dry finish of considerable aplomb. A most complex and beguiling drinking experience. A little more developed and better balanced than my last bottle, hence the better score of 93 points. 12.5%A/V! ..... and sealed with a reasonably good, longish cork with virtually no wine seepage except for a deep ruby stain on the base. Drink now-2018. Good stuff!
Cheers,

David
