I agree with Steinberger for many reasons. Not only about wine but also about cuisine. From the simple quaffer to the truly magnificent long-aging great wines and from the humble croque monsieur (or madame) to the most elegant and sumptuous dining, France remains king. And if there is a queen, that is Italy.
