2007 Emrich-Schönleber Monzinger Frühlingsplätzchen Riesling trocken (Nahe)
Slightly austere at first, but gains some weight and depth with time and shows flavours of fresh red apples, limes and lemons with intense minerally flavours underneath the fruit. Very precise and bright in the mouth, there's plenty of acidity here and a long finish that unexpectedly shows a hint of glyceral sweetness with some air. Lovely, incredibly refreshing and wonderful with food.

Yup. Off the list at a new German wine bar/bistro here - although the list is about 80% trockens and GGs with a few Spatlese/feinherb wines, and then a bunch of Auslese and a couple of TBAs. Still, no complaints. (That's where I also found the Wittmann that I posted a note on. Pricing isn't bad, provenance is very good - which can't be said for a lot of other places here, so I've at least got another source for German wine here :D.)
