I do not have the experience of many German wine lovers here on this forum and I have been neglecting this region of late so bear with me please!
Color. Deep lemon, almost verging on a light gold.
Nose. Tons going on here and very appealing. Spice, slight hint of gasolein, lime, stone fruit. "Minerally" from across the table. Not a big tropical fruit aroma at all. Expressive.
Palate. On entry almost a hint of effervescence but not pronounced like others, zippy finish, non-creamy. I found some green BC apples, pineapple, soft acidity..."peach, off-dry, melon".
Medium length finish which impressed as wine warmed up. Still has a life ahead but guess drinking close to prime? Unmistakeable wine indeed, so happy to have another bottle at hand.
**** held up really well overnight, some terrific added pineapple tones on the finish. Yum.
