WTN: '98 Karlsmuhle Lorenzhofer Riesling Spatlese

This is in a very nice place right now. There's still primary and honeyed fruit, but also some creaminess and petrol over a firm mineral and acid base. I really like the balance, and the way each sip wakes up my palate. Brilliant in more ways than one.

Sounds delicious. The 98s seem to be drinking really well right now - and Karlsmuhle makes some awesome wines (that I don't buy/drink enough of).
