WTN: 2000 Chateau Charmail (Haut Medoc, Bordeaux)

Toasted/burnt oak, green herbs, and some drying tannins. This is a solid and packed wine that is still fairly closed. Showing some of its deep dense purple fruit. Has some muscle but still has a fairly classic profile. Has years to go, and I'd say not yet ready.

Some '00s are really tight, but I'd have expected the more modern styled to be less so. Thanks for notes
