Woo hoo - my favourite wine publication just got released!

http://www.skurnikwines.com/msw/documen ... gFinal.pdf - the new Terry Theise catalog's out for Germany. :D

Great reading, especially for the Riesling geeks. I love Terry's writing - yes, he may be an importer and be selling the wines, but he's really got a way with words (and an incredible passion that really stands out in his prose).

And a note to David - I note more lavish praise for the 08 Adams. Definitely want to open some of the Kabinett and Spatlese in fall once they hit the shores. :)

Thanks for the heads-up, Salil. Terry Theise's catalogue is a thought provoking read, even if you don't agree with the ideas or have access to the wines.

Salil,
thanks for the catalog....
one thing that caught my eye was..are we going to lose the Carl Schmitt Wagner wines? did I read it wrong? I love their fat juicy wines....

thanks,
Michael

There was a brief period where Bruno Schmitt's son had taken an interest in the winery, but it looks like that didn't work out.
