A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Good frothy mousse when poured.

Medium yellow in the glass.

Lots of streams of bubbles in the glass.

Doughy, yeasty and honeyed on the nose.

Medium weight, apple, nutty, crisp acidity, quite rich, a hint of honey, very clean.

With time, the wine revealed an over-ripe fruit note.

Mouthwatering, green apple finish.

Delicious and quite gulpable.

Purchased at $23.95 (Canadian).

I was always a big Ferrer fan but lately have not been impressed. This week, I tasted the Chandon Blanc de Noir and thought this blew the Ferrer away. Wonder what is the price difference?
