Our Love of Euro Wines Means We are All Snobby Oppressors!

by Brian K Miller » Fri Jun 12, 2009 12:23 pm

Oh no! I have been found out. According to this feminist blog, my (our) love of "challenging" Europeanish wines that are not sweet and fruity means that I (we-even the women, 'cause you all just wanna be males if you enjoy lean Bordeaux) are all PATRIARCHAL MALE OPPRESSORS TRYING TO CLIMB THE SOCIAL CLASS LADDER.

OH NOS! I have been found out! :) As a good lefty, I am returning to Boon's Farm and Cartlidge and Brown foresooth! Otto, I expect postings only on fruit wines from now on!

That is not radical feminism. It if is radical anything it is radical (but hopefully not terminal) dumbness. Well, it is also rampant anti-intellectualism.

It's actually a pretty funny site, overall. But...plenty of crazyness, too.

Ignorance is correctable by knowledge and enlightenment.

Stupidity (idiotic behavior even in the presence of knowledge and enlightenment) is the one unforgivable sin.
