WTN: A real Kabinett from a recent vintage!

2002 Donnhoff Norheimer Dellchen Riesling Kabinett
Yes, this actually comes across like a real Kabinett with the gentleness and lightness of touch I've found in the few older/real Kabinetts I've had from David Bueker's cellar (pretty much every other 'Kabinett' I've bought/tasted from the last 5-6 vintages has felt like a smaller Spatlese.
Very light and precise with clear flavours of green apple, pear and citrus mingled with stony minerals. Tastes barely off-dry with bright acidity balancing whatever sweetness there is, very restrained and quiet but wonderful to drink on a warm day and incredibly refreshing.
