WTN: 2006 Tercero Grenache Blanc Camp 4 Vineyard

Very interesting wine. It had some initially forward pear fruit that was then overcome by a waxy, almost oxidative set of flavors that really set me in a mind of a Southern Rhone white (e.g. Beaucastel Blanc). This is a really interesting wine, and given that the price is absurdly low for this sort of thing a great value as well (if you're into Rhone whites).

Thanks for posting this note . . . It will be fun to follow this wine over the coming years . . . VERY different than my 07 bottling, though with some bottle age, it too is taking on some of the aged rhone / aged riesling characteristics . . .
