One of the better pink wines out of Spain, according to various local wine tastings.

Colour. Thick raspberry, a long way from salmon pink. 13% alc and some nice clinging legs.

Nose. Cherry, violets, orange, raspberry. Enticing flavours folks.

Palate. Wow, look at those huge wine crystals wharever. Nice balance and pretty dry. Juicy stuff, cherry and raspberry but not kool aid!! Like the citrus acidity, lots of strawberry here too. Bit tiring to drink a whole bottle however but Robin is on a pink roll so participate!

Cost was $17.00 Cdn.

Question forumites...how does one put the "accent" over the "e" of Rose?

I've only had the '03 Artazuri garnacha (it was called "Artazuri Red Navarra Wine" then but was 100% garnacha). While it was tasty, it was overly jammy and flabby, but that just might have been the vintage taking over. I'll look for the '05 for sure.
