From Burgundy Wine Company.
13% alcohol.
Purple color with crimson edges; nearly opaque. Initially I found this lacking in appeal compared to the Drouhin Chambolle-Musigny from the same vintage. However, this improved over a couple days corked and refrigerated. Exhibits a certain red-fruit juiciness and a smooth finish. Worth repurchasing for now or mid-term cellaring.

Mugnien and not Magnien? There's also Freddie Mugnier, but his Chambolle isn't labeled Vieille Vignes.
Thanks for notes. 2005s are pretty tight on opening, you were wise to revisit.

I butchered the name Dale. Now corrected. Left out some letters in Frederic also.
