DOCG
Tenuta Il Corno
Good cherry red in the glass.
Heavy barnyard (which I like), black olives on the nose.
Light to medium weight, drying, somewhat stewed cherry and raspberry fruit, good acidity, some bitterness, earthy, quite drying toward the end.
Drying, mouthwatering and bitter on the finish.
An acceptable Chianti, but nothing more.
Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
