2005 Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon The Montelena Estate
Is this a somewhat more approachable Montelena? It's aromatically closed, but there's grater richness on the palate than I am used to. It very well balanced, but I am almost tempted to use the word plush, except for the comfortingly forbidding tannins that follow the initial wave of dark, rich fruit. There's certainly no fear of this drying out any time before say 2040.

Babykiller. Not that I blame you for opening a bottle - that sounds really delicious.
