1989 Ch. Saint-Pierre – I always think of this St. Julien as St. Pierre Servaistre, though I believe they dropped the last name many years ago (anyone recall when?). I am just starting to take a look at my 1988, 1989 and 1990 Bordeaux, and this was the most recent one I pulled. Still fairly dark with a currant and oak nose, the wine has now softened and has a nice intensity of flavour and very decent length. Drinking very well now.
