This is a puzzler for me. Cellar Tracker gives the '05 Ambroise CdNV 75, 79 and 85 points in most recent posts. We had with pan-seared duck, roasted sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts (sauted and roasted with garlic, walnuts and drizzled honey). I would easily score the wine 92 pts. As perfect a match for the meal as I can imagine. I bought all I could get of this wine on close-out for $21. I did give it a one hour decant, and it was singing. Anyone else have experience with this wine? I usually rely on CT for advise, but this kind of disparity is what can lead to great buys, if people are mislead, and shy away from a winner. Kind of like Parker and his 87 and 88 point beauties. BTW I have found '05 Burgs consistently drinking one level above their pedigree, and this was certainly better than a lot of 1ers I've had from other years.
