85% Grenache (+60 year old vines) 15% Syrah.
Picked this up a couple of months ago as a part of a mixed case buy. Very shy nose of cherry and and red berry. Spicy dark cherry and dark berry flavors with hints of earth, mineral and chocolate. Delicious with a long and persistant mid palate finish. Usually $17 but bought on sale for $12 (two bottle buy to get discount). No vintage year anywhere on the bottle and I've looked till I'm almost blind. Anyone have experience with this producer? You don't see many, any?, still red wines with no vintage, lot etc. Great value at $12.
14.5% Alc/vol.
