Alsace should be envious. Delightful! Pale yellow, very aromatic, totally Gewurz, long finish with just a nuance of sweetness. 12.9% alcohol Bought at the winery.
For this bottle, I'm totally overjoyed that I have another, and more than a little sad that there's only one more. I had a rather eclectic supper of southern style steamed prawns, a Mediterranean-ish pilaf with a healthy dollop of coriander, and green salad with tarragon vinaigrette. The gewurz had enough oomph for the prawns and was amazing with the rice.
