My first Argentine bubbly, and it's a winner. Medium coral-pink with good body and rich fruit. The color's dark enough that I worried it might be sweeter like that wretched Domaine Chandon Blanc de Noir we had last weekend, but it's not: the wine finishes fastidiously dry. Texturally, the bubbles are on the big side and the mousse frothier than creamy, so it lacks the mouthfeel of a top drop, but like the Graham Beck from South Africa that I like so well, for $16 this is way above average.

I've never seen an Argentine bubbly.

Until I ran into this bottle, neither had I. Like most Argentines, this is a very nice value.
