I just love a good savennieres. This one hit the spot nicely. I don't believe Baumard makes this bottling anymore.

Hazy notes form a half bottle. Lovely savenierres, perhaps my favourite wine. This had lots of the classic wet wool, straw, quince and pear notes of an aged chenin, with a lovely glycerine streak and slight creaminess through the palate. Lots of acidity though, and this is still evolving. Very enjoyable, though unfortunately my last one. (A-)
