A wine from out on the coast, made by Michele Sciansa from cabernet, sangiovese and merlot.
Not the best year in Italy, but good wines are out there if you are selective, and this is one of them. Fairy dark, with a rich slightly sweet plummy nose that took on some blueberry and cocoa as it opened up. Mild tannins and just the right amount of acidity to give the wine a lift at the end, finishing clean and tasty.

Ready now, and should hold over the next 4 years or so.
