Eola-Amity, I suspect, though the use of the term "new" is a bit misleading, since it was established in '06.

Quite a big area if both Domaine Serene and Redhawk/St. Innocent/Evesham Wood are both in it. From visiting there, I wouldn't have guessed they'd end up in the same pie.

Yeah, Mark's right - it's Eola-Amity Hills. Many of the wineries in this area are drawing grapes from our AVA here. And yes, the AVA is not brand new, but this is the first celebration of same that I know of.

Here's a shot of the northern area of the Eola-Amity Hills area - my house is in the trees. :)

We visited the area in late October and were delighted with many of the wines! Sounds like fun -- wish we were closer.

On a separate note, have you tried Winter's Hill wines? They were a new discovery for us in 2008 and we found them very pleasing.

No, I haven't tried them, Ruth. But, I will now make it a point to. :)
