There are a good number of bottle-conditioned beers that are closed with cork. Thankfully, I haven't yet run into any TCA problems (though I suspect I am not as sensitive as some).

I like the convenience and especially the freedom from cork taint with screwcaps. Nevertheless, I will miss corks. They were part of the romance of wine to me. I will miss the civilized ritual of removing and inspecting the cork. I cannot imagine opening a bottle of champagne sealed with anything but a cork. But I can face the truth and am reconciled to the fact that corks are clearly on their way out. But so, in fact, am I, and I will be probably be gone from this sphere before corks totally disappear.
