DO Calatayud
Very dark red in the glass.
Spicy, smoky, raspberry, red licorice and creamy on the nose.
Spicy, quite tangy, jammy raspberry fruit, red licorice, viscous, a little hot and rough toward the end.
With time, the wine took on more of an edge and lost some of its earlier roundness and plumpness.
Drying, slightly tangy finish.
